Winter Feline
Wildlife Models Shoot, Kalispell, MT Join "Award-winning Master photographer Charles Glatzer for a spectacular wildlife model shoot at the Triple “D” Game farm in Kalispell Montana. "In the past 10 years, I have been on 13 different photo shoots involving captive animals. This has expanded my portfolio considerably and it now includes many species I may never see in the wild, let alone be fortunate enough to photograph. Invariably, I have come home with a large number of images that I have been able to sell for stock and fine art." -Cheryl Ertelt Unlike some larger workshop groups, STL/Triple D workshops have a maximum of seven participants, providing the necessary opportunity to photograph the subjects from a variety of vantage points. From wide-angle close-ups to super telephoto headshots, STL maximizes the potential for each participant to obtain a more unique and diverse portfolio of each subject. With our smaller group, you will be better able to capture exquisite portraits of animals, as well as a variety of behaviors that will sell for years to come. And, our smaller group can better accommodate requests. As with all other trips, this is a workshop, not just a photo tour. Instruction is designed to enhance your visionary skills, as well as your technical execution. You have seen many of the wonderful images produced from participants attending an STL/Triple D workshop in print and on websites throughout the Internet. A
better staff you will not find, and a finer atmosphere
does not exist for learning the fundamentals necessary
to make you a competent animal photographer. We will have a minimum of three days shooting a combination of primary and secondary species for at least nine photo sessions. The fourth day is a rain date or additional shooting day. This workshop has been designed to capture felines that are extremely difficult to do so in the wild. This promises to be a most productive workshop with highly saleable images. This workshop is scheduled to coincide with beautiful snowfall in the Kalispell area and the animals should be in their full winter coats. The photo sessions will be held in professionally designed natural settings appropriate to each species. Triple “D” has been providing wildlife models for photography for over 25 years and their animals are always well cared for and in excellent condition. You can expect to go home with many keepers. Moreover, they will not be just portraits of animals in static poses. You will be shooting the subjects in a variety of behaviors as they move around in their environment. Lodging - the on premise log cabin has all the comforts and conveniences of home and then some. Complete with a cozy fireplace, kitchen, and enough space to sprawl, mingle or sneak off to read a book. In addition, the included cabin accommodations provide a wonderful platform for classroom instruction, with a digital projector set-up, daily critiques and lesson plans are made easier and the group interaction and camaraderie shared cannot be beat. The fee for this shoot is $2450. This includes 4 days of shooting, minimum 9 sessions, photo instruction, and lodging. Meals, and gratuities for the animal handlers are not included. Weather permitting a number of additional animal sessions will be available for a fee of $150 per session. Participation is limited to seven. Terms:
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required. The balance
