Custer State Park, SD
Oct 3rd-7th, 2008 (arrive afternoon of the 2nd, depart mid-morning 8th)

Join us for a most spectacular Instructional Photographic Workshop in SD. This is an opportunity you will not want to miss! Custer St Park is an uncrowded wonderland of wildlife; bison, pronghorn, white-tailed and mule deer, elk, coyote, prairie dog, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, turkey, grouse, and more await the participant. It is the best place I know of for pronghorn. This diverse environment is an outstanding location to practice and hone your field craft. In addition, the included cabin accommodations provide a wonderful platform for classroom instruction, with a digital projector set-up, daily critiques and lesson plans are made easier and the group interaction and camaraderie shared cannot be beat.

Lodging - Surrounded by a ponderosa pine forest the State Game Lodge gamekeepers cabin, has all the comforts and convieniences of home and then some. Complete with a cozy fireplace, kitchen, and enough room to accommodate 16 there is plenty of space to sprawl, mingle or sneak off to read a book. Grace Coolidge Creek winds through the valley, as Oak, birch, and aspen trees line the babbling creek, providing a colorful fall display.

Participation limited to eight.

Fee for 5-day workshop $2250, includes instruction, 6 nights lodging. Park entrance fee, and meals not included.

Terms: A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required. The balance is due on or before Aug 3rd, '08 the date of the workshop and is then non-refundable unless the tour sells out. If we do not receive your check for the balance on or before the due date, we will try to fill your spot off the waiting list. If your spot is filled, you will lose your deposit only.
