"Animals
of Montana" Winter Wildlife Model Shoot
Join "Award-winning Master photographer Charles Glatzer for a spectacular wildlife model shoot at Animals of Montana.
Whether we photograph at the AOM location or one more remote we will give you the opportunity to get those award winning shotsEdge! The animals are nestled between spectacular mountain ranges and wilderness for picturesque photography, Moreover, most animals are not photographed within compounds, thus providing clear and unobstructed backgrounds.
Subjects include; BEARS LARGE CATS WOLVES SMALL ANIMALS Unlike some larger workshop groups, STL AOM workshops have a maximum of eight participants, providing the necessary opportunity to photograph the subjects from a variety of vantage points. From wide-angle close-ups to super telephoto headshots, STL maximizes the potential for each participant to obtain a more unique and diverse portfolio of each subject. With our smaller group, you will be better able to capture exquisite portraits of animals, as well as a variety of behaviors that will sell for years to come. And, our smaller group can better accommodate requests. As with all other trips, this is a workshop, not just a photo tour. Daily classroom and in field instruction is designed to enhance your visionary skills, as well as your technical execution. Long
lenses are not specifically required for this workshop, as
we will be photographing the animals at close range. A 100-400mm,
80-400mm, 70-200 or 300mm with/without TC lens are ideal.
That said a longer lens could prove beneficial for tight close-ups,
or a wider angle for more environmental type shots. This promises to be a most productive workshop with highly saleable images. You can expect to go home with many keepers. Moreover, they will not be just portraits of animals in static poses. You will be shooting the subjects in a variety of behaviors as they move around in their environment. This workshop is scheduled to coincide with beautiful snowfall in the Bozeman area and the animals should be in their full winter coats. The photo sessions will be held in professionally designed natural settings appropriate to each species, and all animals are well cared for and in excellent condition. *Please note that all individual rate animals (Grizzly, Snow Leopards, African Lion, Siberian Lynx, Tiger, Black Leopard, and specialized wolf) can only be photographed once during your three day tour. On the weather day all animals will be available for the additional cost mentioned below. Lodging recommendation in Bozeman: Terms:
